🔶世界人権デーの由来を押さえます
12月10日は世界人権デーです。これは1948年（昭和23年）12月10日、パリで開かれた国連総会で「世界人権宣言」が採択されたことに由来します。宣言は前文と30条から成り、「すべての人は法の下に等しく保護される」ことなど、基本的人権の尊重という原則を国際的に掲げました。第2次世界大戦下の迫害や人権侵害の反省から、「人権の保障は世界平和の基礎である」という考えが広がったのです。

🔶成道会（じょうどうえ）特集｜今回の放送でお伝えしたこと
12月8日の成道会に合わせて、お釈迦さまが悟りに到るまでの道のり（四門出遊→出家→苦行と中道→スジャータの乳粥→菩提樹下の成道→初転法輪）を、できごとの順にたどりました。物語としての面白さだけでなく、「いま私がどう生きるか」へつながる視点も添えて解説しています。

浄土真宗で最も大切な年中行事が報恩講です。宗祖・親鸞（しんらん）聖人のご命日にちなみ、仏さまのご恩、そして教えを伝えてくださった先人のご恩に「報（むく）いて恩に謝する」法要として営まれます。

親鸞聖人のご命日：旧暦11月28日（新暦換算では1月16日）。
本願寺派（西本願寺）では、宗祖のご命日に合わせて御正忌（ごしょうき）報恩講を1月16日前後に厳修します。

今週は、仏教の実践「布施（ふせ）」を前回につづいて深めます。ことば・人名・仏教用語を正しながら、日常に落とし込める形で整理します。
🔶布施の語源を正します
布施はサンスクリット語 dāna（ダーナ） の意訳です。「自分の持ち物・力・心を惜しみなく分かち合い、互いに助け合い喜び合うこと」を指します。
