「吃音」は話し言葉がスムーズに出ない発話障害の一つ。
言葉が急速に発達する幼児期にはおよそ20人に1人の割合でみられるそうです。
吃音との付き合い方を考える講演会に、九州大学病院の医師・菊池良和さんが登場しました。 菊池さんは「吃音ドクター」として、著書やSNSでも積極的に発信しています。
