  • Commute inspo✨

I started listening to GeriPal regularly as a way to get in an inspired mindset during the commute to my job as a hospital PC social worker. My mom was a nurse practitioner in home based primary care at the VA and she started listening too. We had such great conversations about her work that I never would have heard, and it allowed her to be a mentor as well as a mom.

  • Very important topics, fantastic questions and guests

Just listened to the Anti-Asian Hate episode and highly recommend! As a public health professional, I found the host did a great job balancing the complexities of the important topic by asking great questions to each of the expert guests, blending scientific data, heart, and health/wellbeing with a side of musical talent. It was ✨dynamite✨.

  • Staying in the loop

I’m a UCSF alumnus, and now I live and work in rural Oregon. Providing up to date geriatric and palliative care can present challenges in my community due to a lack of understanding about the “mission” of these specialty areas. Listening to this podcast helps me feel connected to experts and innovators in this field, and helps me stay focused on what matters. I love the conversational yet scientific reporting style. It feels like I’m part of a loving club of nerdy-smart clinicians. Thank you fo... more
