  • Not sure I understand Ray’s intentions on Other People’s Pockets episode.

    Seems like a nice guy but I think I’m missing something. He has a great family life, had a great career, made great money, has retirement funded and wants more? Mentioned he “can’t be 30” in order to beat out a 30 year old diversity hire - seems greedy.

  • A much needed commentary in these times

    I remember fondly Ray Suarez from PBS and his recent interview on CBC brought me to this podcast. I like the format of juxtaposing regular peoples stories with expert commentary. Navigating the modern work world especially as an older worker is resembling more and more an episode of Survivor with most of us not winning. Hope to hear more episodes!

  • Necessary context, solid storytelling.

    Was introduced to this podcast after hearing an interview with its host on the CBC. This podcast provides some angles on the system we live in that I hadn’t considered. The interviews with people that have or are going through it seem thoughtful and to the point. I hope more episodes are produced, I went through the first 6 in a day. Thank you for your work.
