Every billionaire represents the disenfranchisement of all working people. No matter how much they make a performance of altruism, they are still the symbol of the suffering of millions. Philanthropy is just an illusion meant to distract. And, yes, this includes the beloved Taylor Swift.
So good!!!!!!
I am addicted to it love it so much. I usually listen to it for two hours a day. The hosts are great and really break down what happens - also I I’ve learned a lot about IPOs and share holders 😉.
Could you guys please make and episode about Elon musk though, it would be great
Would love to hear a proper discussion about whether it is even possible to be a good/ethical billionaire. We’re living in a time when people mindlessly idolise such parasites and exploiters and wealth-hoarders, whilst demonising migrants, refugees, poor people etc. As another reviewer said, the whole premise of this show is weird and dubious, and kind of grotesque, though I still enjoy listening to it. Please discuss this! And thanks for the show anyway.
