The Good Doctrine Podcast aims to encourage Christians to think more biblically, to ask more questions, and to love God more. Doctrine is vitally important in the life of a Christian, and we want to pair a right knowledge of God with right teaching about God. Hosted by pastors Dr. Josh Howard and Sean Pasley.

This podcast used to live up to its catchphrase as the hosts discussed the connection between good doctrine and good living. It was a podcast by local pastors for their local congregants and it felt like that—personal, on-the-ground, and applicable—and it was great.
Eventually (and unfortunately), they decided that there wasn’t enough news commentary going on and felt the need to comment on current events. I have no clue why they thought this was a good idea. I stopped listening for a few months... more
I have had the benefit of learn from Josh for a bit a few years ago before family needs took me back down south. The amount of research and knowledge he pours into the topics is top notch. I’ve been looking for a good podcast to listen to help me grow in my walk and help better teach the people in ministries I’m involved in so the the Holy Spirit can shine bright and grow the Kingdom.
I have been trying to find a Christian podcast to listen to that had depth to it, and the Good Doctrine podcast fulfills that! I absolutely LOVE listening to it! It’s challenging and encouraging!!!
The podcast speakers (Josh and Sean) are very easy to listen to. Their laid back style makes it easy to listen while you are on the go. The doctrinal issues addressed are done so with our home church in mind. Deep truths are explained clearly. I encourage anyone trying to get a handle on often complicated theological beliefs to give this a hear. It is well worth the time.
