  • 5 stars without Mark, 1 star with Mark

Re-instated Ams are bad because they abdicated their amateur status when they chose playing for money. I agree with Lou, if you have no success, you can come back. If you hold a Tour card, you are the best 125 players in the world and should never be playing against orthodontists again. Sorry, there are still local pro events where you scratch the competitive itch. As to my title, Mark cannot tolerate anyone who doesn't agree, he just railroads people who disagree, thus why he thought Lou agreed... more

I love the podcast but Mark and Greg are wrong. Once you choose to be a pro and reach certain levels, you can’t go back. Tyson wins Golden Glove, Jordan playing AAU.

The MidAm was set up for amateurs cause the US Am is always won by “pros in training”. A reinstated pro to me the state MidAms are about 1/2 reinstated pros.

But college ‘amateurs’ make more than me. There are not many amateurs left in golf. Why push them out. College kids can make a million playing golf. I can win a few hundred ... more

  • Could not be better

It would be very difficult to improve this pod. The chemistry between hosts, and the unique, always informative perspectives from an Ozzie tour pro, American statistics analyst, and a successful Brit coach mixed with a healthy dose of ribbing; to my mind is entertaining.
