Caitlin M. Green and Trent R. Nelson interview experts who weigh in on current debates. In the process they seek not only to uncover answers to the questions of the day, but to explore why they are being asked in the first place. To understand the questions we ask, they believe, is half the answer.

  • Half baked

Worthless liberal/leftist drivel. I am dumber for having given it a chance. All feelings no facts - classic arrogant liberals.

  • Great podcast. Informative and timely.

Audio could use a tune up. Just put a blanket or foam up in front of you when you record. It will damp the room noise and fix most of the problem.

Thank you for the great podcast. I am a new listener but I look forward to your episodes.

  • Fix your audio

Please get some professional products for your audio. Dr Green in particular drops out and is muddy sounding. Really terrible sound that detracts from what is being discussed. And while guests have been great, Mr Nelson adds essentially nothing to the mix. Great potential but very amateurish production.

National Delirium: NatSec in Post-9/11 America, from Dubya to Donny
Q: How did the sort of 9-11 and years afterwards set the groundwork for what we are coming up against?
The War on Terror justified a deep suspicion of outsiders, leading to systemic racism and the establishment of a national security apparatus that disproportionately targeted certain communities.

Palestine in Context: The New Israel-Palestine Deal
Q: If this Wittkopf agreement is not so different from the Blinken agreement, then why would Benjamin Netanyahu, why would he be inclined to accept such a deal now?
Netanyahu might accept the deal due to Trump's leverage and popularity in Israel, which compels him to align more closely with Trump's interests than with Biden's.
