  • What happened?

This group of new hosts do not measure up to the older group of hosts in any way. I have looked forward to Mondays for years and now I have unsubscribed.

  • Not for me

I've listened to the show for years, and just unsubscribed. It's not the new hosts' fault but I'm not the audience they’re looking for. I’m interested in the WNBA but I’m also interested in other sports and it feels like the WNBA is its primary focus. Again, shows are entitled to cover what they want how they want and I'm entitled to take a pass. Best of luck, Hang Up crew.

  • I quit

I unsubscribed after listening for 10 years. New hosts, especially Lindsay (CONSTANTLY laughing), a big drop off from prior hosts.

  • Miss Joel, Hate new Hosts

Joel was the best. Not sure I will continue listening to to slate podcasts anymore

  • I miss the old guys

I really wanted to keep listening because I liked the old hosts but I just can’t. Alex laughs at everything she says (even when not remotely funny), and everything Ben says sounds like a speech he’s written out in advance. Alex is good. But that’s about it.

Nate Silver and the NFL's Year of Parity
Q: Nate, does everything that you're seeing and the numbers that you're crunching mesh with this idea of a very parity heavy season?
Yes, there's more parity this season than we've had in a long time mentioned earlier in the conversation.
Micah and Jerry’s Dallas Standoff
Q: How do fans feel going into this season?
The Cowboys' fanbase feels complicated emotions stemming from previous seasons and ownership decisions, leading to a sense of disappointment mixed with loyalty.
Micah and Jerry’s Dallas Standoff
Q: RJ, is Jones just a devoted capitalist who can't resist getting into high-stakes negotiation just because he loves the back and forth?
It's difficult to discern, but one theory suggests that the Cowboys enjoy the attention these negotiations bring, even if it leads to financial losses in the long run.
Trump vs. the IOC
Q: Where do you see these trans sports bans fitting into this picture?
This can create a huge problem for the IOC as the U.S. government constraints may conflict with their eligibility rules for athletes.
Trump vs. the IOC
Q: Have we seen any proof that the IOC will stand up to this at all?
The IOC relies heavily on U.S. financial support due to broadcast deals, making them unlikely to act against the U.S. government.
