I subscribe to + so miss the ads but the music is just absurd. Was a friend desperate for a credit or a platform or something? Why the second rate hold music shoe horned in? No need for it.
How many times can this woman tell her story?
The amount of ads on these episodes is astonishing. There’s no clear start/endpoint to them and I regularly skip too far or not far enough ahead. Really annoying and takes away from the content.
I thought this was a very well done, ethical and thoughtful true crime podcast. I hope Don Findlay was happy with how it was edited and the overall tone. There was so much emotion in his interviews and I am glad Melissa seemed to find more peace. The only thing that frustrated me about the podcast was if you aren’t a subscriber, there are more ads in this podcast then any other I have listened to which does the podcast a disservice in my opinion. I understand ads help fund the project, but this... more

I liked the music and the narration, but it felt like it dragged on a little too long. And a lot of the conversations felt like being present in someone else’s deeply personal therapy session. Was quite uncomfortable at times.
