I love your comments on film, Caitlyn. I appreciate the way you weave your own emotional/spiritual life into the play of the films. Your journey in films and life is very touching.
I was surfing podcasts looking for a discussion on one of my favorite films, Antonioni’s L’Aventura. Yours came up, I listened, and I was hooked. Please do more!
This is amazing. I love how much was there in these spoken essays, reviews, reflections on life. I love the way Caitlin brings her own excitement about the films, and the way she goes about describing them and pointing out what they do well. Using the power of the mediums of cinema and podcasting to make honest inquiries into her own personal life and the greater realities of life.
Caitlin’s commentaries are one of a kind. She gets closer to a film than anyone I’ve ever read or heard. It’s as though she has truly lived with these films, films that have stood the test of time even in her life. Her intimate confessionals are revelations. To speak (and she has an amazing speaking voice which is the on or off switch when it comes to listening to a podcast as far as I’m concerned) with such passion and clarity all at once is no small feat. She is one of a kind. You will bear wi... more
