I started listening to the Hs Ls podcast a while ago. I just realized I must have started after Zack joined. I found season 1 and lo and behold no Zack or Engine Sound Listening Game! I was super excited to find episodes I hadn’t listened to but sorely disappointed when there was no Engine Sound game ! Also ,it was so short! It’s fun to see how it started and what it’s become . I am so glad I found a podcast that gets me!
I’m an old new rider which means I rode along time ago, took a break in life and started again. I bought the quintessential HD that I dreamed of as a kid then I bought and Indian and I thought I was done. Then listening to you yahoos, I am now looking at speed triple, monster, etc. your show has really opened my eyes to different styles of riding and I am excited to get into it. With that in mind, I’m approaching 60, 6’2”, 225 lbs and I want to learn how to do wheelies and endos with out complet... more
I have listened to just about every episode going back to season 3. I love listening and can’t get enough motorcycle content. I’ve learned so much from your gear episodes and learned more about bikes new and old than I ever thought I would. I love this podcast and no matter producer Chase says it never runs too long, go off on all the tangents possible, they are always my favorite part!
Also Spurg’s motul ads have absolutely sold me on motul, I don’t buy anything else.
I’m Noah’s dad Randy. Thanks for taking our motorcycle dating game submission. I went with the Yamaha TTR50 since it has electric start (Honda CRF still kick start only). And as Spurge suspected, 7 year old Noah learned how to shift using the semi auto transmission in no time at all. He’s ripping around the 50cc like a boss. In hindsight, I’m happy I went with the gas powered bike instead of an electric bike. Keep up the good work on your podcast. I listen to every episode and have been for year... more
I’m an old new rider. I rode bikes periodically growing up but got married and joined the military and then prioritized those over riding. Since retiring I have bought 2 bikes, HD ultra classic and 2025 Indian Pursuit 112. I really related to the 3 speakers in the trauma episode. The sheer joy they got out of riding was very relatable and we all deal with trauma/PTSD differently and that is when I am in my happy place. I listen and learn some from you guys from safety, habits even preferences. ... more
