  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

I started listening to Angela and Shay back when I was a brand new mama, living with our great aunt and trying to learn all I could while also working full time and a nonbeliever in Christ. That was back in 2021. I have listened to every episode (even the ones from before I started) and I often to listen to each one repeatedly. Not only have they made me quit my full time, decide to homestead and homeschool, and also create carts of seed orders I can never afford 😅 they also turned me into a be... more

  • Relatable but choppy due to ads

Love the focused homemaker content but so! many! ads! breaking up the narrative. More and more ads through the years. Timestamps would also be helpful.

  • Love it!

So relateable... the Neanderthal children, wearing out the house 😂 When my father in law started living with us, he would freak out as they came down the stairs, saying the house couldn't handle it... I had to say that it my (then) 4 and 9 year olds were going to break the house, we had bigger problems... now they are quite a few years older... lol!!!!

  • Wanted to love it

I wanted to love this but the hosts always seem unprepared for each episode. Often it seems they have nothing at all to say on their chosen topic. It somehow feels disrespectful as a listener for them to be so off-the-cuff and unenthusiastic.

  • Phone calls w/my aunts?

Started listening when I was pregnant with my first and now I have my second. Listening each week feels like a weekly phone call with two experienced aunts. Love this show!
