I am on the last episode and so sad it is ending. Each season was better than the last! Loved the original premise and then they took the story line to a whole new level. Going to get the spin-off on Patreon. Binge listening for the past 3 days. Wonderfully imaginative story!!
Definitely a series worth listening to. Lots of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Why are episodes cut off as soon as John figures out stuff? Why not have it reported to the sheriff? or have anything about arresting or finding the bad guys? Make actual episodes that are longer than 10 min. Make actual cases story lines. Half the episodes are ads and guy talking at the end of every episode takes up half the time of the episode. I get there is a story line outside of the general cases but unless the episodes are posted out of order theres no rhyme or reason and it doesnt make s... more
I'm amazed at how much is packed into an episode that is less than 20 minutes. I am almost done with season one and have enjoyed each episode. I'm also impressed with the sound effects, which make the episodes feel like the characters are really in whatever environment they are in at the moment. I know how painstaking the process is to create or find different sounds and layer them to create an environment. It is also a lot of fun and very satisfying to sit back and listen to the final product. ... more
