I appreciate the access and insight into so many division 1 programs through the interviews.
The best softball podcast!
Softball coverage isn’t great in general. Cookie cutter interviews with surface level answers that they recite over and over again. “I knew my team had my back.” Nonsense like that is most of every interview in this sport. But In the Circle is among the worst overall.
Their commentary is unintelligent and uninteresting. Their interviews are plain and have zero depth. They take no chance to ask detailed, interesting questions that only the coaches or players they interview could answer. You have... more
Audio quality is horrendous
I really want to like this podcast and support you guys because you support college softball but taking half the show to talk about press box size and a weather man! Interview with another broadcaster and asking about how she felt calling games? That’s something you do in season not right after Regionals!! Talk about the teams and the players. Tell us what team had the best batting average, which team won with defense, which players carried the teams! You said nothing about how the games actuall... more
