Galactic Horrors catalogs the consequences: weapons that wake up, quarantines that arrive too late, signals we answer because we’re lonely, and cures whose side effects learn faster than we do. Each episode is a tight, self-contained sci-fi mystery that peels back layers of secrecy—corporate, military, or purely personal—until the cost of curio... more

  • From a fan of Chrysalis

I started following the narrator back when they were with Gunpowder and Sky doing the Chrysalis series which in retrospect is a masterpiece on Dust. The episodes here on Galactic Horrors is a different level of lower qualify all together. Galactic Horror seem to be an amalgamation of redundant tropes similar shallow characters development and predictable story arks. I’m a commercial driver so I need long form content to fill the endless hours I spend driving. On the upside this podcast is cons... more

  • Outstanding Tales!

The writing is excellent, balancing strong short-form storytelling with just the right amount of horror. The narration is equally high-quality and perfectly paced and well-modulated.

  • Scary with meaningless techno babble

Not since Jordi LaForge have we enjoyed so much meaningless techno babble, but this show can often deliver on some terrifying and dramatic stories.

  • Decent but not great

I’ve listened to about 15 episodes so far. The problem I have with this podcast is that it’s very repetitive as far as the plot goes. One or two episodes I can understand. But the number of episodes so far that I’ve heard that deal with this. It’s just a little too much and makes it very boring. I want to just hear good ... more

  • Good, but…

The stories are pretty good, but some of the wording and sentence structure makes it appear as some of the stories were written by AI. Finally, there are really a lot of commercials. I get it, you gotta keep the lights on, but the incessant breaks kills the story flow
