This is such a fantastic podcast! Walker has an impressive line up of guests and his interview style is as feel-good as a bubbly glass of expensive champagne. He's adorable from the inside-out. (no, I'm not a relative!) Just another podcast host makin' my way and knows good content when I hear it. And anyone who is adored by Sally Struthers and Liza Minelli has got to be full of fantabulousness!
As a huge B-52’s fan I loved the Kate Pierson episode!! This is a great show with a host who isn’t afraid to be completely himself and personally relate to his guests on a deep level. Keep ‘em coming!!
Oh, how I adore Walker, both as a person and as an interviewer! He injects his infectiously positive attitude into all that he does, which is so refreshing and is much needed. Not only is he incredibly (multi) talented, he’s a real pro. Walker is also a font of valuable information and an excellent resource. He does the work, and he hones his craft, and he strives to give his very best self. I love listening to him!
Kudos to you Walker.
Your avid admirer, Dawn Watson
Walker Vreeland is one of the most honest, sensitive and excellent interviewers I have ever heard. He researches the people he is interviewing thoroughly, asks probing but always respectful questions, shares his own feelings, and his humor is always present. The subjects of his interviews are diverse and interesting, and the people he has interviewed are famous artists, writers, therapists, musicians, comedians -- the list is vast. Walker's hard work pays off in every interview he produces!!
I spend a ton of time in the car for work! I love listening to these interviews while driving! Inspiring, informative and hilarious!!! Keep them coming…I love this podcast!

Walker Vreeland is a tremendously funny, genuine, compassionate, and gifted interviewer. I’ve had the pleasure of being a guest on Walker's show on WBAZ several times. His humanity and authenticity immediately put you at ease, and yield a fun, deep, honest exchange. Interview with the Artist is like having a barbecue with two of your good friends: relaxed, entertaining, heart-warming, hysterical, incredibly satisfying.
I listen to Walker Vreeland and his show Interview with the Artist because I live in the Hamptons. I am always intrigued by his honest conversations and thoughtful line of questioning. An excellent show.
Walker is smart, funny, genuinely real, and thought-provoking all at the same time. I could listen to his interviews all day. Really good stuff. Thanks!
As a devoted listener to all things on WNYC, NPR I am thrilled to have found INTERVIEW WITH THE ARTIST with host, Walker Vreeland. This is a refreshing new twist to the interview art form. Vreeland is witty and at times self-effacing. He deftly takes his guests to deep, darker place of truth. And along with his listeners they feel safe and private in a public forum. The guests seem to trust Vreeland. As a listener I feel that I am being let in on secrets. Secrets that are universal.

Walker does the best interviews with the most interesting people. I really enjoy his show!
As an educator and documentary filmmaker, I’m very picky about interview programs. I also get bored very easily. Walker Vreeland is a find. Insightful information in an entertaining format. Like a good dinner party with exceptional guests.
I have always loved Walker on the radio but these special segments take things to a whole new level for me. With in the depth interviews Walker conducts, these conversations are so engaging you feel like you are right there in the room with the artists. A wonderful addition to the podcast world that I hope continues for years to come. Bravo!
You never know who Walker Vreeland will interview next, but it is always interesting, intriguing, and in-depth. By listening to him, I am certainly in the know on who's hot, hip, and current!
