Listened for years and love the show. Listening to the podcast recreates the frequent experience Id have of hearing a weird reference on MST3K itself and then going to look up whatever they’re referring to. Ends up as as 1/2 rewatch pod and 1/2 general history pod.
It's like they made a juice of MST3K epi for the modern person on the go. Listening to the two hosts give context for the items that I miss and reminding me of jokes and episodes is so wonderful.
This is the first podcast I’ve listened to regularly and without fail. There’s a big backlog that I’m working my way through and really enjoying. If these heroes don’t deep dive MST3K episode minutiae, who will!?!
I love this show!! Funny hosts despite their East Canada perspective
Update: still great. Getting to know the hosts over the life of the show has been fun. We don’t share the same favorite episodes but I enjoy their criticism and think they are arguing in good faith. If you “hate Tom Servo’s new voice” this might be the show for you.
The worst of yucking on others’ yums.
