It’s a shame that my introduction to this podcast was the episode on Buffalo Hunter Hunter. I mean one of the hosts couldn’t even be bothered to read the book and the one who did admitted to not knowing it was a vampire book until the other host read the synopsis. Good old intellectual mediocrity. I read the book and knew it was a vampire novel inside of 30 pages.. this just went downhill from there. Don’t waste your time with these guys.
I have enjoyed listening to It’s Lit reviews as I make my way through the Cosmere. After reading each book of the Mistborn trilogy, listening to this show has helped me gather my thoughts as to strengths and weaknesses of the series. Though we don’t agree on star ratings (sorry,) I appreciate the depth and passion with which each book is discussed. I also appreciate the connections being made to plot points and Easter eggs in other Sanderson novels so I know what I have to look forward to. Would... more
