#216 - Tim D'Eon (Wintersleep)
Q: What is something you would share with your 10-year-old self?
Just roll with the punches.
#216 - Tim D'Eon (Wintersleep)
Q: What is your secret to longevity in the music industry?
We just love what we do and care about it so much, wanting to make the best product.
#173 - Joel Cassady (Walk Off The Earth)
Q: If you could go back in time and share words of advice with your 10-year-old self, what would you say?
Stop overthinking shit and go with your gut; your work ethic and stubbornness will pay you back in ways you might not have imagined.
#173 - Joel Cassady (Walk Off The Earth)
Q: So what does it mean to you to have your country acknowledge your hard work and your musical talent?
It's a huge deal as a Canadian musician to get acknowledgement from the Junos, but I know there are people who treat that as the be-all end-all; we just continue to focus on our audience and let that drive our success.
#173 - Joel Cassady (Walk Off The Earth)
Q: Do you remember receiving the phone calls for those different successes? The gold album, the platinum this, the multi-platinum that?
I think realistically it would have been more emails, and definitely... there's a certain like decoupling that happens, you know, where you can't absorb the impact of something like that because so many things are happening at once.
