Good insight but John spends half the pod prefacing what he’s saying or tryna beat fans/listeners to the punch by us what he THINKS we think. Can be annoying as hell. Also rambles and repeats at times.
Been listening for years. Great guests (minus Bram), especially the opposing teams’ beatwriters, and reporting. Hard to hear some of the locker room interviews esp when in the car, but a must-listen for any Team fan.
Except that the number of commercials has been slowly increasing for years. Used to be a quick natural read for Lone Oak Coffee, but now random commercials can take over a third (!! No kidding!) of an episode. Just barely worth listening. So many of course I’m skipping them all. I ... more
John is fantastic, but half the podcast is advertising now. I don’t know if this is a podcast with ads or advertising with someone talking football. I would gladly pay a small amount every month to get an ad-free podcast.
