Journey through Classical Piano

I love Jeeyoon’s podcast “Journey through Classical Piano.” I recently stumbled upon it after viewing some of her videos on YouTube, and it is a gem. It could be one of those mundane days, but listening to Jeeyoon’s podcast transports you to another time, where you get to know a particular composer more deeply than before. Also Jeeyoon’s voice is very soothing. It is so enjoyable listening to her podcast. I hope she posts more episodes in the near future!

I love this podcast so much for the personal stories, pieces I've never heard of (e.g. Martucci's Nocturne!), Jeeyoon's gentle calming voice, and of course her beautiful pianism. I always look forward to the next episode.

Also, I am beyond impressed that Jeeyoon does this in a non-native language. I deeply admire how brave and vulnerable she is to speak in English!

I have just discovered Jeeyoon Kim’s podcast on Classical piano. I am impressed and moved by her straight forward explanations of particularité works. She eloquently describes thé background history of a work, along with some interesting aspects of the composer’s life, as well as giving important technical highlights of a work. She ends the podcast by performing beautiful interpretations of the work. Thank you Jeeyoon for your wonderful contribution!

This podcast is such a delight. As someone who played piano for many years in my youth and generally loved classical music, I am so thankful to have found this! I’ve only just discovered this podcast. I’ve been taking piano lessons for one year (age 39) and this has just been a joy to experience. I love learning about famous composers and how the music is arranged in this nice bite size episodes.

I discovered this podcast just 2 weeks ago, found it was so awesome I listened to all of season one, and the current episodes already. The info given about the composers brings them to life as real people, she selects biographical facts that interest her, many which I’ve never heard before despite my lifelong love for classical music.
