八八風災重創南部部落後，清華大學的教授們在校園內尋找受災地區的原住民族學生，
卻發現：一位都沒有。
這讓他們意識到——
受災地的孩子，可能連進入更高教育的機會都不曾獲得。
於是，一群教授決定：
✨不能再等，必須主動把教育資源帶到部落。✨
他們走入災區，走訪各校，

Pinanaman是學習的地方，位在花蓮縣玉里鎮，有一個地方，你只會聽見阿美族語，也只能使用阿美族語，有時我們會叫他「美語學校」。
當初馬躍感概於當原住民受了教育後，常常忘了我們是誰？他希望能夠有有一個地方培養孩子的信心，也能夠知道自己是誰，從過去都在做別人，但現在我們要成為自己。為了要回答我是誰時，孩子的第一語言是什麼便很重要，因為我是誰的回答內容，語言就會決定我是誰。堅時阿美語，就是希望孩子從族語的脈絡長出自己的思考方式。而在這裡看見孩子們在學習語言的能力，遠遠超越了我們的想像。
