  • I've been listening to these guys for years now, they're a mainstay of my podcast lineup and I relisten to episodes in between releases. The tone is light and conversational while still being informative and insightful. The jokes and prolonged bits give the show a charm that keeps me coming back and each episode stirs my curiosity in the city around me. They're also reliable, I know every first of the month I can look forward to a new episode to enjoy.

  • Moving to LA? Listen here!

I love these guys - their passion for history, fact-checking, and their love for LA/CA. Anyone who doesn’t find them funny needs to check in to the hospital (no insurance needed) for Joy deficiency. YOU GUYS ROCK!

  • Hilarious Perspective from True LA Natives

There is something undeniably relatable about these guys if you were born and live in LA. If you aren’t from LA, listen to these guys to get a local’s perspective on it! It’s very niche and entertaining (and this is coming from someone who isn’t even a Star Wars fan).

  • Missed Opportunity

I appreciate the historical content and the effort that goes into each show. It’s hard listening through the jokes, side conversations, bits and virtue nodding just to hear what the title promises. These guys clearly want to be better known comedians and saw this podcast as a way to kill two birds with one stone. Talk about LA and be better known in LA. Can’t fault them for strategy, but when you try to do both you end up doing neither very well. And that’s certainly true here. Does feel like th... more
