American Christmas - Washington Crossing the Delaware
Q: So at what point... It was right about this time when the French signed on and said, all right, we'll back you?
Not at this point; in 1777, Lafayette showed up and would help rally the French to the American cause.
Joan of Arc
Q: Do you believe that her mission was essentially over after the king was crowned?
Yes, I think it was. I do think that God was prepared to allow the French to take Paris at that point. She said so, and I believe her. I take her at her word.
Joan of Arc
Q: Didn't you say that one of the executioners or something went afterward and her heart didn't burn or something like that?
After she was executed, the executioner tried to burn the rest of her body and was successful in burning everything except her heart and intestines, which he could not burn despite his efforts.
