Adam Graham serves as your host, providing his idiosyncratic as he goes, as we go through the much underrated 1946-54 detective series starring a pre-Johnny Dollar Bob Bailey as Detective George Valentine a World War II vet, who along with his secretary and assistant Brooksie take on every case that's mailed to them.

I found this late. Sorry to see it go.
Bob Bailey is one of the many great radio actors who added his voice to many listeners pleasures to listen to many old time radio shows.
He is great in this show and in Yours Truly Johnny Dollar.
He is the best.
Despite some complaints from Adam, I absolutely love the mixture of comedy and mystery! Sometimes the murder mysteries and such can get a little too serious and bland and this makes it fun and silly, yet still the show in the "detective" category! Kind of reminds me of a radio version of Magnum P.I because of his humor :-)
