There’s something refreshing about these unscripted conversations that touches me in a way that rehearsed teachings cannot. There is a place for both, of course, but I really appreciate the feeling of sitting in the living room just talking about the big issues in life.
A wonderful episode I was able to share with a new person who recently asked about prayer. And as you were talking, I was thinking that prayer is a way to destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8). The laptop was stolen (devil) prayer applied, laptop found (God!). Powerful. Thankful to Marcia and Donna.
Every time I listen to an episode I’m always blessed by how timely and needed the episode is for the current season or challenges I’m facing.
It’s evident that God is meeting needs through this podcast not just for me but so many others. Even when an episode isn’t directly relevant to me (like on parenting), there is always something to learn or share with others.
Perfect timing for me to stumble across this podcast. I’ve been doing some running and the first episode I listened to was on fitness. It was exactly what I needed to hear. I went back and listened to the episode on gratitude and I continue to be blessed by this podcast.
I love that these conversations are so open, honest, and inspiring to anyone whether a long time Christian believer who reads the bible every day or to someone who’s just bible curious, and anyone in between. I always find myself eager to share and talk about the podcast and think deeper about what I hear. And I do feel that it helps me understand God and his word better and find new ways to let him into my life more and more! ❤️❤️
