  • Media bias

How many football operation jobs has John had? How many jobs has he had that actually work in football not commenting on it? Did he play or coach or be apart of a football team at his college? This guy talks like he’s a seasoned prosfesssioal who knows more about football than every member of the jets organization, how have the jets not offered him a job? I can’t stand how these media people basically say if the team doesn’t do what they want it’s wrong despite having no real experience with foo... more

  • Wr issues

Very good show, think you’re points are all pretty reasonable about the team. One thing I’d like to see is your opinion about how WRs were developed in the saleh era. I’m one who thinks we can’t take any stock in anything Corley or Gibson has done to date and both should get a clean slate with hope for upside. Saleh was huge on not letting any receivers on the field unless they knew every route and every blocking assignment at every wr spot, I mean just saying it sounds so ridiculous. You do... more

  • Quinnen is checked out this season

Think John B is wrong in Q. Watch Jim Rome interview. Watch Jets mic’d up. He seems unhappy and checked out. I don’t see him having a good season at all. He seems like he’s checked out and just showing up to collect a paycheck. It’s obvious and poor that John can’t see this.

How the New York Jets Can Still Salvage a Lost Season By Developing Young Talent
Q: Is this indicative of a wider failure of team culture?
Yes, there seems to be a deeply embedded acceptance of losing, which affects player motivation and accountability.

Q: What actually goes into a game like this when the score is far more lopsided than the relative talent of the teams would suggest?
It can be a mix of factors including loss of focus after previous wins or ineffective schemes, and players might not put in full effort if they sense a loss is inevitable.
How the New York Jets Can Still Salvage a Lost Season By Developing Young Talent
Q: What can the Jets do to put him in position to improve in year two?
The Jets need to evaluate Engstrand's approach, ensure he utilizes players effectively, and possibly bring in a mentor to help him improve.
CLEAN HOUSE: New York Jets Must Overhaul Quarterback Room in Offseason—Fields, Taylor, Cook Should GO!
Q: What do you think about the Jets GM and head coach so far?
While it's early, the Jets are moving towards a clearer vision led by the head coach rather than the GM, and have made some encouraging moves, but still need to resolve the quarterback position.
CLEAN HOUSE: New York Jets Must Overhaul Quarterback Room in Offseason—Fields, Taylor, Cook Should GO!
Q: What would your plan be to address quarterback this offseason?
The Jets should clean house at quarterback, potentially bringing in three new signal callers. The exact names are uncertain until free agency, but it's clear the current trio is not part of the future plans.
