What a fabulous podcast! Thank you for putting the case together in such a comprehensive manner.
I admit- I thought he was guilty. But I now have concerns that he has been wrongly convicted.
You and Jeff have done a remarkable job. I hope that Max one day gets the justice he deserves.
although the reporter may have been a detective he is certainly backwards in his opinions around Sica not being violent in the relationship or others previously meaning he hasn’t committed this murder. We all know that controlling behaviour and coerce control are just as dangerous as physical violent as indictors for partnered violence. The podcasters ideals may have worked when he was a detective 30 years ago but he’s certainly behind the ball in today’s society.
Graeme has done a fantastic job of researching this case and presenting the facts, you can really tell he put his heart and soul into every case he examines and endeavours to find the truth. Thank you for your hard work
Made it to episode four but honestly my brain has just turned off as it did with the Sandrine podcast. The presentation is very monotone, and I found the timeline really hard to follow. It’s a shame because it sounds like a really interesting case. Not sure if it’s because the other podcasts of this genre I listen to they weave in going to places, speaking to people, off-the-cuff conversations etc whereas this is just one person reading a script 90% of the time.
Very good put together. Host tells a very good story and keeps you interested.
