  • Good conversations with interesting people

Paul‘s companionable chats give a lovely glimpse into the way practising artists think about their work and its place in the world. His questions are generous and open up the chance for guests to go beyond well-oiled lines and stock points, and instead share something of themselves. The recent one with Laurent Garnier was a delight. But I’ve also loved discovering less familiar figures - both emerging and veteran artists who weren’t on my radar before.

  • Engaging Content

One of the nicest parts of the podcast is when Paul has his vignettes about life in Berlin. I also enjoy the interviews, even though a lot of the artists are unfamiliar to me. I like the easy manner because it allows me to hear where the artists are coming from, and I go on to discover their work. Exactly what a music podcast should do, and Paul does it well.
