  • Incredibly sad story, but the narrator is very good

The narrator knew the victim and is very close with the family so you can feel the hope has that this podcast might lead someone to divulge info or get the police, who don’t have a special cold case unit as some places do, welcome help.

I do think that some parts of interviews are repeated a bit towards much requiring me to skip the repetitive parts, but the interviews are so powerful that I didn’t take off points for some repetition.

  • Great find

Just finished episode one and you know a winner when you hear one. Such respect for the family, a perfect match of a professional and insider. This is gonna be good! Praying for justice!

  • Wasn’t going anywhere- had to stop listening

I made it 3 episodes in and had to stop. All information was very surface level and suuuuuuper slow. A lot of filler with very little substance.

Still very interested in the case but will have to look elsewhere for information because this just wasn’t cutting it.

  • Insanely slow & repetitive

I really hope that justice is served for Ashleigh & her family but I had to stop listening because this podcast is so slow, repetitive (sentences played multiple times) & then there are the constant sound bites of the host being praised by others. Why?! There are so many excellent & engaging true crime podcasts out there from other serious journalists & I sincerely hope some of them pick up on the Ashleigh Love cold case too because this one just isn't doing it for me.

  • A little bit of background about the victim is fine

Devoting an entire podcast to “getting to know” the victim is, and this may sound harsh, not interesting to most people that didn’t know the victim. Spend some time building the context and then move on to the crime, the case, whatever. Podcasts that are love letters to the deceased may be cathartic to friends and family but to most of us, they simply aren’t interesting.
