  • It’s tolerable. All they do is giggle and guffaw pointlessly. There is much of importance to be said and argued, but they just kept chuckling like a couple of nitwits.

  • Love this show.

Love the show and love their dynamic. I was expecting it to start with one Austen fan and one Lynch fan but Maya was the fan of both and Christian was the newcomer to both. The show is a fun not too serious look at both subjects in depth but they down drown you with minutiae. My only complaint is the audio levels are not the most consistent but they have rereleased a few episodes with improved audio as they became more experienced. • Came for the Austen, but now curious about Lynch!

As an avid Austen reader and lover of anything period drama, I’ve so enjoyed this podcast, and it’s entertained me through many a long drive! I’d never watched anything David Lynch before this, but am now easing into a couple of his works out of sheer curiosity after listening to about all the Austen related episodes :)

  • Wonderful

Just recently discovered this podcast and am already in love! I’m a Stitcher user, and for some reason there are only 4 episodes of this show on Stitcher, but this podcast is worth using a second app for, that’s how much fun it is! Never would have thought to combine Austen and Lynch but it really works wonders seeing their work juxtaposed like this. High recommend!
