With age, I've become better at recognizing when I'm not in the right mindset to solve a problem, rather than bashing my head against walls.

Q: Could you tell us what brought you into mathematics?
I got interested in physics, but when my family moved to Israel, I only had the option to take math classes, which initially led to my switch to math.

Q: So how do we build that? And to do that, we've got to go back to children who are sort of 9, 10, 11, 12 years old.
We need to provide ongoing support and tutoring that challenges students week on week, rather than relying on one-off lectures.
