I had the best time chatting with Danielle (@foreverbookedup) — we’ve been book friends for years, so this conversation felt less like an interview and more like catching up with an old friend. We talked about how our reading lives have changed, the ... more
In this episode, I’m joined by bestselling author Sadeqa Johnson to talk about her stunning new novel, Keeper of Lost Children. Sadeqa shares her journey from indie publishing to traditional publishing, what it’s been like releasing her sixth book, a... more

January was a very three-star kind of reading month. I read a lot of books that were fine, enjoyable, and easy to turn the pages on—but not many that fully took my breath away. In this episode, I’m breaking down what worked, what didn’t quite hit, an... more

I’m a long time insta follower but new to your podcast. My first listen was your deeply personal Jan 2026 episode and I’m here for good! I’ve had a similar church life situation. Thank you for sharing your experiences so thoughtfully and meaningfully - I was in tears a few times, so many of us mamas can relate and just want to do right by our kids and raise them in a loving, accepting, encouraging family. Love this podcast so far and can’t wait to get into the new year and all these fun books wi... more
I just found you and am so enjoying your reviews!!
Meagan’s podcast is a must for book lovers—her reviews are thoughtful and thorough, her author interviews are super engaging, and her research on upcoming releases is always on point. She brings real insight and personality to every episode 💗📚
I really appreciate having a podcast like hers for book recs and even hearing about the negative reviews too. Meghan’s book summaries are clear and concise, and since finding her podcast, I’ve been far more successful with choosing audiobooks I truly like… Thanks to her! Also, I must add that her author interviews are enjoyable and give me a better sense of who the author actually is and their motivation for writing the story.
I have listened to several book podcasts and this is the best one! Actual book recommendations that are solid and well thought out plus interviews with best selling authors!! Megan is easy to Lauren to and interesting without a lot of banter or laughter where you can’t understand what she is saying. A lovely mix of entertainment and reading inspiration!
