It is so easy to connect with the guests on Mike Birbiglia’s podcasts. Mike asks terrific questions that lead to insightful answers. You will laugh and in the same few minutes you will realize that we all have our struggles. If I wrote all of my compliments, this review would be too long.
It’s fun to listen to comedians tell stories and workshop jokes, but there is something more to this podcast. To me it feels more human and less superficial than other comedy podcasts. I think a lot of comedians struggle with anything sincere, but Mike B. nails it. I particularly like the Arthur C. Brooks episode for not having a second comic and not trying to be funny, but just being interesting and informative. Thank you!
Mike & his guests provide humorous and fun conversations that also leave a valued trail of insight and wisdom. It’s great “inside comedy” conversation with experienced comedians and also great conversations with interesting entertainment people. Just do it and listen in.
You will only regret it if your significant other, family, friends or employer expected you to get s…tuff done for them while you were binging on these podcasts. 🤷♂️

Fun, helpful and hopeful. This podcast inspired me to get back into comedy. Every episode is a winner but I highly recommend the Todd Glass episode.
