If my children were young I would not allow them to watch this racist biased show against white young men. The show was based around a black boy that stabbed a young girl on a bus but the woke Netflix changed the race to a white boy. It was disgraceful. The ridiculous amount of white mam bashing on these podcasts is getting beyond ridiculous. You need to be honest about perpetrators and their race and backgrounds. Very disappointing
I usually love this show but there was a totally horrendous lack of acknowledgement that this was a highly targeted attack on the Jewish community. Xanthe talked twice about it being bad timing because of Xmas. When dozens of Jews are read and injured. The guest went out of his way not to say Jew. It was awful. Please do better.
I am binging these episodes and enjoy the perspectives from psychology and criminology. The personalities of the presenters work well together and they are respectful and interesting. I’ve been looking for a podcast that delves into what is happening and why, without going into detail of the crime itself.
Just listened to an episode on Lucy Letby. The guest was fantastic, but frequently interrupted by Xanthe who was inconsistent with her own views and just seemed to change them based presumably on what she felt would be more well received. Sound for Tim was echoing and terrible, and his manner is blunt and not personable.
I have been enjoying all the podcasts put out by you both. I love the companionable chatter between you both too. Living in South Africa I’m a bit in the dark with some of the cases you discuss but soon understand and enjoy and I’m over the moon when I have heard about cases like the mushroom killer or the student killer and then listen to your take on them. Thank you dr Xanthe and Tim. Kindest greetings from Howick-Midlands- Kwa Zulu Natal-South Africa 🇿🇦 🤗
