Came across this almost by accident earlier today and listened to the Balvidner Sopal episode - lovely amazingly honest and refreshing conversation with one of my favourite actors. Jake does a fabulous job of creating a safe space for Bal to share her experiences and bit of insight into himself too.

Now going to work my way through the rest of them, can’t wait!

Love listening to all the guests stories and Jake is a fantastic and charismatic host

This podcast is brilliant. Jake Ferretti is a skilled interviewer and talks frankly with a hugely diverse range of actors, directors and entertainers, focussing on their mental health and their relationship with the industry. Such important compelling conversations. I would recommend this podcast to everybody.

Why is there such a lack of mental help for those in entertainment? Fantastic podcast, I just listened to my first episode. It’s great to know that no one is alone in feeling these feelings and what people have been doing to overcome. Definitely tune in.

Wow, wow, wow. I have listened to these wonderful creative people talking about the industry they so clearly adore and have felt a mixture of outrage, humility and wonder. I am not a part of this amazing industry just an average person who listens to music, goes to the theatre, watches tv and films, reads books and had never thought about how the finished product was produced/created for me to enjoy.

How refreshing to listen to a Podcast which dares to lay bare the hang-ups and insecurities many of us feel but prefer not to admit. I stumbled across this podcast and curiosity thankfully got the better of me when I settled down to listen. Have now listened to 2 and think they are amazing , so easy to listen and fascinating to hear people’s experiences, loves and lives. Jake presents a confident approachable interview style and puts his interviewees at ease. You find out so much without feeling like we are prying . I shall look forward to more!!

I was expecting someone to talk about a bad boyfriend but once I started listening, I realized that this was more of a podcast about the mental health of being an actor and why it’s like to have a job where you are judged daily on your appearance. Really engaging information. Worth the listen

It’s so important to talk about how we in the creative industry are dealing with the current situation. Jake chats to a wide range of people and delves into their lives and how they are coping with Covid and lockdown. It’s good to know that we are not the alone in dealing with mental health issues and also what their tips and life hacks are to get themselves through. They are also funny and make me smile!
