  • Great podcast about the great war

Absolutely fascinating and engrossing podcast about one of my favorite historical topics. I’ve listened to many episodes multiple times and if I make it to a battlefield tour in the future I’ll certainly keep Dan and Spence in mind. Cheers to you both from Texas

  • A great Podcast for a not so great, Great War.

Just got back from a tour of WW 1 battlefields, trenches and tunnels.

Learned 3 things on this tour.

    1) death

    2) despair

    3) destruction

  • Great WWI Pod

Thanks for all the great pods, guys! I’m still catching up. The pods on sniping were very interesting. (I thought Scottish gamekeepers played a role in developing field craft such as ghillie suits or did that come later?) Thanks again for all your great work!

  • Great show

I’ve been disappointed (and bored) with a number of WW1 podcasts prior to following this one. The hosts are knowledgeable and engaging and their topics interesting. Recommend 100%

  • Great WWI Podcast

Thanks for all the great pods guys! I’m still catching up. The multi part pods on Cambrai and the 1918 spring offenses were great. The cross over pods with your WWII podcast were very insightful. I was not as convinced by the guest speaker on the BEF’s readiness in 1940 pod. Thanks again for all your great work!
