Olive Hill

This is a good one. The hardest part for me was the voice acting/direction. Most of the actors sound a bit flat and unconvincing, and never as if they are in the same room together when the scenes are shared. The strength of the writing is what pulls this podcast through.

Really well done, I didn't love the narrator but it was such a good story. I like how human a lot of this feels even when it's based in the supernatural.

I just happened to find Olive Hill while looking for a good podcast to listen to. I’m from WV not to far away from olive hill. Loved the story and it was awesome to hear such a good story that includes so many places that I spent time in growing up. Made for a day well spent on my day off work.

Olive Hill is the most authentic fictional take on the true crime genre I've heard. Everything from the narration to the pacing and editing has you believing this is a real documentary. The interviews are enlightening and we gradually learn more about the mystery and the characters involved.

I wasn't enthralled with the more paranormal aspects as the plot developed but overall I would recommend Olive Hill.

Fantastic voice actors and great story- it seemed unique and the slow build kept things interesting. I don’t normally get emotional listening to podcasts but I did with this one. Just overall very, very well done.

First episode and it is again peddling the myth that 24 hours must elapse before a person can be reported missing. This is WRONG and harmful. Please for the love of God stop doing this.

Took me a while to get into this but the story was intricate and all of the details came together to form a very good story. I’d suggest sitting down, taking your time and really listening as the ending was incredibly interesting and it all tied together.

I can’t remember how I heard about this podcast - maybe on a list of audio dramas? But it was so worth the listen. Excellent actors, great pacing, and an interesting story with a bit of mystery yet enough reality to keep it grounded. Listen to Olive Hill if you like investigative style podcasts.

Listened to, and greatly enjoyed Olive Hill, hungry for more, went to their podcast Thirteen, which is now definitely a favorite of mine. Olive Hill is an atmospheric and delightful mystery. I’ve actually listened to the story twice. I hope they’ll do more standalone stories like this that are a season long in addition to the wonderful stuff they’re putting out with Thirteen.

Investigation podcast style that carries itself well. Super mellow and easy to listen to. I had to give it a couple of listens to get the little clues dropped here and there. I really like the narrator and the story concept.

I just listened to the Olive Hill series and really enjoyed them all. It was my first experience with a pod cast and I am hooked. Good job by all involved. Looking forward to Thirteen.

Love this podcast. A ghost story, a love story, a fairy tale all in one. Well done.
