  • Cut to the chase

I heard Vanessa on Shawn Ryan and her episode was really informative. I decided to try this podcast to follow up. The content is super interesting, it just takes forever to pry it out of them over the giggles and the ads. They’re using most of the episode to sell their book/cards or read sponsored ads. They’ll start an interesting topic, go off on a tangent, laugh about that forever, and finally get back to the actual material after you’ve tuned out or forgotten what they were talking about to b... more

  • Amazing useful advice! But…

I love so much about your podcast! I enjoy the honest advice and realness of it. I just wish Vanessa would stop picking on Xander. She’s pretty hard on him and it sounds like he knows how to manage it, but it hurts my heart a little every time I hear her be critical toward him (and she does it at least once per episode).

An example is the latest episode about phone usage where she said “well… you’re still not really good about time management”.

It felt like a passive aggressive dig when he was... more

  • Found on Sean Ryan

My husband loves Shawn Ryan, podcasts and sending them to me! 🤣 Most of the time I start them but dont usually finish because I get easily distracted. He wrote "I'm only 15 minutes in but so far she's made some good points". He wasn't lying because I got hooked within 5 minutes! The episode with Vanessa Marin from Pillow talks is hands down amazing and so informative!
