This episode covers our 6 week stay in Papua New Guinea and our return to Australia.
This is the last episode of PodCastaway for the present. Thanks to everyone who's been interested enough to listen to my ramblings for the past 6 years!
An account of our three months in the Western Provice of the Solomon Islands.
We left Bundaberg on May 11th, spent 2 weeks at Chesterfield Reef and arrived in Gizo, Solomon Islands, on June 7th.
We're about ready to leave Australia so I've recorded this brief update just to show that we still exist!

Thanks for taking us on your cruising journey, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I hope you make it back out to cruising and podcasting again soon. Best of luck with everything.
Well done Martin, you provide a wealth of information in these well executed podcasts. It's almost like being there.
Always look forward to new podcasts from Martin and crew. Well produced podcasts, good radio voice and always makes topics interesting with descriptive reports that "take you there". As an example I have little interest in diving yet the diving reports give me an insight to the attraction of this activity. As a desk-bound sailor dreaming of extended cruising on a catamaran this really is the next-best-thing.
Great log of the author's cruising experiences. I've enjoyed every episode, and it became more exciting when they headed West.
I really enjoy this podcast. Keep it up, Martin! This podcast discusses the realities of cruising by sail. Martin talks about issues with the boat, with the destination, visiting new places, latest rumors and anchorages, etc. It makes me - a total landsman - want to go cruising.
