Incredibly well researched and well edited podcast.
So smart, so fun and so well produced. 10/10. If you love pop music, this is it.
For the pop usic lovers everywhere honestly and I love the wide range of esteemed guest the show brings on, professors of music I would say.
Enjoyed the first two Taylor Swift episodes a lot and this pod is a very fun occasional listen, I wish more of the episodes I listened to had women included in the discussion. Especially with the early years of Taylor Swift, having two men intellectualize what it was like for teen girls when TS came on the scene was missing something. I’d love if in the Speak Now episode you have a woman on who can speak to what it was like to be going through girlhood during the debut-Speak Now eras.
Great podcast and a great listen. The American comes across as a bit of a know it all’s but the Canadian seems friendly.
