Katie being pushed out at LGM was a bummer to me, so I’ve loved having her back in action. She’s such an engaging, smart and funny host and producer. Eager to get more Richard Lawson on the pod, but it’s been good hearing from a diverse range of guests (which LGM has often lacked, having to stick with the VF roster). Much prefer the analysis and news section of the show to the celebrity interviews- I get my interviews elsewhere like THR
I can’t get through awards season without Richard Lawson. Please have him on the podcast as often as you can. He is my favorite source for Oscar knowledge and film reviews.
Honestly, guys, I love this show but I have to say something. Please stop calling celebrities by their nicknames. Like Timmy for Timothy Chalamet. There are others I won’t mention here. Unless a celebrity says, “Call Me Timmy” (or whatever their nickname is) we shouldn’t do it. None of his really KNOW them. Anyway still love the show. It’s just something I’ve noticed and other listeners have also mentioned.
I really enjoy hearing Katey and her cohost talk about the latest high quality films with intelligence and thoughtfulness. Thanks for the great podcast! One of my new faves.
Love it when he’s on the pod
