  • Excellent Second Season

I listened to and thoroughly enjoyed the first season, but this season has really hit its stride. I probably had more natural interest in the subject of season one, but the writing, pacing, and embedded interviews in this season have me on edge waiting for new episodes. I also think having a single host to guide you through the season works much better and Toby Ball sounds much more at ease and authoritative without having to hand off the narration.

  • Season 1 was simply awesome, I was excited every time an episode was released and listened to every episode multiple times, so I was thrilled to see Season 2 coming.

If you need some distraction from the current political madness by looking back to past political madness and intrigue with an awesome soundtrack, well here it is. Enjoy!

I recalled the general framework of these stories from my youth. However, I did not know all of the detail you reveal in the series. It is fascinating. Listening to the bonus episodes now. They are so interesting. Thanks for this series.

  • NOTHING BUT BIAS IN THE WATERGATE BONUS EPISODE

The episode would have been fine had the professor did not, ironically, inject his personal politics in the episode. I smirked when he said there was a party switch in the 80s. A handful of democrats switching parties does not a great switch make. Then he talks about the dangers of one party having a ton of power and control. I am thankful the current government did not try to force me to get a shot and state people who refused to get the jab were responsible for the pandemic. Nor have they, per... more
