イタリア・ファシズム建築について。
ムッソリーニ政権が構想した「EUR」は、
ローマ帝国の威光を現代に再演しようとした巨大都市計画でした。
イタリア文明宮殿（スクエア・コロッセオ）に象徴されるように、
アーチ・大理石・プロポーションの美学は、
“古代ローマの精神を現代に呼び戻す”装置でもありました。
未完に終わった万博都市から、思想が都市スケールに流れ込む瞬間を読み解きます。
