  • Exceptional!

I absolutely adore the Gathering Gold podcast! The conversations between Sheryl and Victoria are always full of so much wisdom, kindness and compassion. • Awesome podcast.

Highly recommend this podcast. Best podcast I’ve ever listened to. I’ve definitely been teary on occasion with many gems and so much relatable deep work. I very much enjoy the angle ‘for highly sensitive people’ because there’s nothing specifically out there like this. 5 billion stars.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Upside of OCD with Michael Alcee
Q: What do you see as the goal of working with someone who struggles with OCD?
The goal is to befriend OCD rather than view it solely as a bully, allowing for a deeper engagement with one's feelings and emotions.
The Upside of OCD with Michael Alcee
Q: Can you speak to how you see the connection between sensitivity and OCD?
Michael highlights that OCD tends to emerge from high sensitivity and a deep emotional capacity, which poorly understood can lead to overwhelming anxiety and compulsions.
Resistance to Growing Up
Q: What would you say to someone who didn't feel like they had a secure attachment to explore the world from?
The fact that they have that much self-awareness to frame it in that way is a really good starting point and speaks to the fact that they're on a healing journey.
Sacred Sexuality
Q: What would you say to them about what you see for most people as you work with them around this, when they gently and slowly work towards recovering their own yes and their own sacred sexuality?
I typically see that it's not as scary as you think. The course is very gentle and if you're not called to take the course but you are curious, I recommend reading books about it to open the doorway to curiosity.
Fertility Anxiety
Q: What were some of the tools that helped you accompany the challenge of fertility anxiety?
Some helpful tools included making room for grief, journaling, having a prayer practice, and connecting to nature.
