Are we doing enough? Is the fundamental question of H&S governance. And the answer, it seems at least in New Zealand, is largely not one given with confidence. And beyond NZ, the answer sometimes seems vague, unclear, or uncertain. Governance arguabl... more

Safety on Tap is such an incredible resource! Andrew's methodology is a breath of fresh air. There’s a steady drumbeat with his message— it’s consistent, it’s human, and it’s effective.
Great Podcast with Erik Hollnagel, very insightful and good to know the man behind the books and beliefs.
Keep bring the good interviews as I continue to learn from all of your podcasts.
Such a great program, radically challenging my understanding and inspiring out of the box approaches. Awesome speakers that have enough time to discuss topics with depth.
Excellent podcast challenging the norms with interesting guests with a bit of a different view of the world of safety. Well worth investing the time to expand your horizons.
Andrews podcasts keep getting better. Good guests, well interviewed. You’ll learn more about new approaches to Safety. Not sure about the summary at the end. Might just need to leave the listener to learn for themselves. Well worth subscribing if you are interested in how to make workplaces more successful.
I’m currently in school for EHS and I appreciate this podcast so much, it’s helping me to learn and grow a lot. Please keep them coming!
Andrew
Thank you so much for this podcast. With New Zealand moving to Australia’s model legislation we are also moving into the safety differently way of thinking. I have loved to listen from you and learn different perspectives. It has challenged me in looking at different perspectives and see how it could fit in my toolbox for work now or in the future. I have really enjoyed listening on wellbeing and the use of technology to import energy the safety environment.

Hi Andrew, great guests, mostly excellent information and food for thought; however, 1. Please watch and listen to some of the great interviewers (someone like an Andrew Denton?) and see how they ask questions and then not interject. Let them have the time and the space without interruption.
2. Is there any way for you to ask shorter questions that don’t contain 4 statements before you get to the question?
3. I realise it’s a free podcast and you’re doing it on the smell of an oily rag, but cou... more
Hey Andrew
Thank you for always bringing inspiring, innovative and future focused presenters. They challenge and motivate me to be the type of safety professional that has impact..... that actually makes a difference. Bravo!!
Thanks Andrew for informative and challenging content. I love the way you encourage listeners to reflect on what they have heard and determine ways they can put new ideas into practice. One thing I’d like to learn more about is positive KPIs that can replace the traditional lag indicators such as Injury rates.

The Safety on Tap podcast has been a revelation for me during my long commute. It is akin to a probing mentor, generating thought as it dissects across disciplines, with health and wellbeing at its core.
Some of the episodes such as the recent cast on bullying have opened up my mind, and the technique that Andrew uses to flip threat discussions into opportunities has already reaped rewards in my own continuing professional development. I would like to say a big thanks to Andrew and enjoy heari... more
Hi Andrew I love listening to your podcast . It's inspirational and informative with fantastic content and you bring on great guests some of my favourites are Tim Allred, Drew Rae, Carlo Caponecchia to mention a few.
I love the idea of the Safety on Tap Connected. I most certainly would love to be part of the lucky few that get to learn and grow alongside everyone else that sees the benefit of approaching safety differently.

The messy concept of risk appetite is just that...an Eton Mess!
Well with this episode (ep30), I ate the whole cake and can I have some more sir?
Susy was a great guest speaker and it was so good to have her talking about a subject that is climacteric for health and safety and other risks in an organisation.
Risk appetite is an area I work closely with so it was so good to have a podcast episode that is so relevant to me!
Thanks Andrew & Susy!
Finally a safety (sort of) podcast that delves deep into interesting ideas and topics and is not just a promotion vehicle. Andrew has undeniable passion for leadership, ideas and safety that is inspiring and he clearly puts thought and time into the podcasts. I really like his 'takeaway points' summary at the end to ensure that key messages are taken away.
Great show Andrew.
I am an independent fire safety engineer, mostly installing and managing the fire safety assets of small businesses and social housing projects in Brighton, England.
Although your content is usually beyond what I do, it does inspire me to be more pro-active in other areas and give better advice to my clients. I also liked the interview with Gordon Bedford. As being a small fish in a big pond I have to approach things a little differently, so that health and safety does not al... more
