Sara & Cariad are deep and varied readers with interesting interviews, funny discussions, and diverse recommendations. I always enjoy listening to their book talk!
Really love dipping in & out of this podcast as and when I’ve read the book, and of course some I haven’t.
Sarah & Cariad are so passionate about books and I find their conversations so inspiring, especially if I’ve been in a reading slump.
Really enjoyed the Christmas gifting episode too, just added a load of titles to my 2026 list. Thanks Sarah & Cariad!
Love this podcast! My favourite episodes are when they talk about a less current/trending book without a guest.
Like the pod, Liv little ep is great especially, but the music is very much ‘heyyy this is for ZANY older white people!!’ It’s truly awwwwwful :(
I love this podcast, i think that when they have the author as the guest it really changes the vibe though, so i personally skip those, it feels more like promo.

The hosts, both comedians and authors, engage deeply with their chosen works, often inviting fellow creatives to share their insights and personal anecdotes related to the texts. This dynamic creates an environment that balances literary critique with humor and personal storytelling, broadening the appeal to audiences who appreciate books that challenge the mainstream narrative. Notably, the podcast champions a sense of community for those who feel like outsiders, providing not just reviews of books, but also reflections on identity, memory, and emotional experience.
