I adore this podcast. I’m a classic literature fan and it’s so great to hear two brilliant academics have some good natured fun with these stories, while still teaching, encouraging critical thinking, and being really interesting new perspectives to these works. Daniel’s accents are icing on the cake too.
A must-listen for any literature student who ever hated a “classic” and needs to hear it brought down a peg. Abby and Daniel are amazing, amusing co-hosts whose passion for literature is palpable but who aren’t afraid to tear it to shreds. Love it all!
I’m so happy I found this podcast the book discussions are so good and funny!
Got confused over where to find the rate/review bit in the app, but persisted to leave five stars. Must be good, right?
I’ve just come back to this after a small hiatus and wonder why I took a break. It’s funny, informed, conceptual but also just a great listen.
