  • Lots of talks with authors

Mostly interesting and gives me a lot of interesting book recommendations however the episodes with a female host is terrible and a nightmare to listen to. Too loud, too chaotic, makes me think of a party girl rather than a professional.

  • Always fascinating,interesting and creative

I’ve just finished listening to a professor talk about snakes. It was so fascinating to listen to him talk about what snakes do for the environment and how different species are much-needed in nature.

I’ve been listening to this podcast since it has begun and I find it wonderful to be able to learn something new and it’s a little bit more than a bite size is a reasonable size.

  • Absolutely dreadful audio quality and as for that intro with that loud music over a weak voice!!

Come on guys, really? I was looking forward to this podcast but after struggling through about ten or so that's it for me. The producers don't care about sound quality and if they actually bother to listen back to the result then they are either drunk or have perfect hearing.

Spinosaurs are uniquely challenging due to the fragmentary nature of their fossil records, making it difficult to create a complete picture of their morphology and behavior.
The real story behind Jurassic Park’s most controversial dinosaur
Q: What can you tell us about how spinosaurs have been misrepresented in popular media?
Spinosaurs are often depicted inaccurately in movies like Jurassic Park. They're primarily known for their fishing adaptations rather than engaging large prey.
Our Universe could be trapped inside a black hole with no way out
Q: Is there any way to test whether our universe actually is inside of a black hole?
We can measure dark energy and expect to find curvature in space-time, which could confirm the black hole hypothesis.
How widening our palates can help feed, and save, the planet
Q: How do these food substances that we're talking about compare to livestock farming and the environmental impact?
Research indicates that producing alternative proteins, such as plant-based meats, can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and energy requirements compared to conventional livestock farming.
How widening our palates can help feed, and save, the planet
Q: What's the current state with plant-based protein science at the moment?
While plants already provide a significant amount of protein, issues like poverty, education on nutrition, and crop accessibility are major factors affecting malnutrition, rather than a lack of protein sources.
